Chris Tugwell is being made a Life Member of the Australian Writer’s Guild in recognition of his long service to fellow writers. The ceremony will take place at this year’s AWGIE Awards in Sydney as part of the 50th birthday celebrations of the Guild. Chris’ book on screenwriting, Dinosaur Theory: uncovering a new approach to screenwriting, is now available via Amazon in print and as an e-book here.
Louise Pike‘s story ‘Meet the Morrisons’ has won the Kids’ Book Review Unpublished Picture Book Manuscript Award 2012.
Katrina Germein‘s picture book My Dad Thinks He’s Funny, illustrated by Tom Jellett, is spreading its wings in 2013. It will be published by Walker Books UK and Candlewick Press USA in the middle of next year. It was also released nationally in paperback on August 1st, just in time for Fathers’ Day.
